Over a century ago, 1882 to be exact, coal was marketed literally door to door in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Eventually, property was acquired to stockpile the coal. Later still, mines, boats and barges were purchased to assure on time deliveries to the customers.
It is from these roots that Cincinnati Bulk Terminals, LLC (CBT) has evolved into not only a coal sales company, but an all-purpose marine terminal. With an emphasis on customer service, Cincinnati Bulk Terminals has provided "just in time" deliveries well before it was in vogue.
Our excellent location gives us easy access to three interstates, as well as, the CSXT, and Central Railroad of Indiana (CIND). These connections allow efficient transportation for a variety of bulk and breakbulk products. With an experienced workforce, Cincinnati Bulk Terminals prides itself on its reliability as it maintains a marine terminal of the highest integrity.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
THE CUSTOMER. He or she is the person who pays everyone's salary and who decides whether a business is going to succeed or fail. And he or she doesn't care if a business has been around for 100 years. The minute it starts treating him or her badly, he or she will put it out of business.
The Boss, THE CUSTOMER, has bought and will buy everything you have or will have. He or she has bought all of your clothes, your home, your car, your children's education and your vacations. He or she pays all your bills, and he or she pays in exact proportion to the way you treat him or her.
A man who works inside of a big office building or plant might think he works for the company that writes his paychecks, but he doesn’t. He is working for the person who buys the products at the end of the line. In fact, THE CUSTOMER will fire everybody in the company from the president on down. And he or she can do it simply by spending his or her money elsewhere.
Some of the largest companies, that had flourishing business a few years ago, are no longer in existence. They couldn't or didn’t satisfy the customer. They forgot who the boss really is.
There is only one boss. Whether a person shines shoes for a living, or heads the biggest corporation in the world, the boss remains the same.
